Spicy food @ Singapore

Most of people said that Singapore food is tasteless, especially for foreigner. It is usual things to add many kinds of spices to their food just to make their food more tasty. Although not all of the food is not tasty, there are also some restaurant provide delicious food, with a reasonable price for the consequences. For me personally, it does not matter so much as i can treat almost every food as delicious food. (Lucky me !!) The only problem for me with this Singapore food is it is not spicy as i am spicy lover. Even the chili is sweet. I have ever think that Singapore people can not differ between chili and tomato. (Peace ^.^) Most of the restaurant do not provide spicy food as i wanted. It is bothersome to foreigner especially Indonesian i think. They specially bring hot chili from their home country just to have spicy food at Singapore. Yeah it is the easiest way to have it.

But there are also another alternative to have spicy food at Singapore. It is all about choosing what kind of restaurant you visit. The number 1 choice to have spicy food is Indonesian restaurant. Indonesia is for sure will provide spicy food as it has been the characteristic of Indonesian food. In Singapore, there are can be found quite a lot of Indonesian restaurant. The most famous one according to me is Ayam Penyet which got two restaurant in one single small plaza, which is Lucky Plaza. One is on the 1st floor while the other one is at the 4th floor. The food is delicious of course and the belacan (Indonesian chili) is superb around the whole Singapore up till now. Beside Ayam Penyet, there are also 3 more Indonesian restaurant, but i only recommend two which are Minang House and Ayam Bakar Ojolali. Their chili are also hot.

Beside Indonesian restaurant, there are also another alternative not to have Indonesian food, Thai food are also spicy. If there are somebody asks me which one is hotter, i would rather not to choose as this two kind of deliver different kinds of hot to our precious tongue. I believe there are a lot of Thai restaurant in this little Singapore. But i have only visited one of them called Thai Express. Their food is quite spicy overall. But they serve two kind of most spicy one, one in rice called Gai Phat Pet Ched Nam Ta and noodle called Sen Lek Kee Mao Gai. Maybe there are other else but i have only try these until i write this post. Just for your information, Gai Phat Pet Ched Nam Ta is hot, spicy and dangerous as well. As for me, the spicy food lover, it still harm me. The result is i have extremely painful stomachache for the whole two days and still the waitress told me that it can be make more spicy than i had. (Don't try with your weak stomach!!)

That's all of the spicy menu i have ever had at Singapore beside the food that are self-cooked by my friends, which is moody. Sometimes salty, sour, spicy, and even tasteless (but i still eat whole food in every condition..hehe...)

My Stupid Friends

Its usual to have a stupid foolish friend...But i think dis one is extremelly stupid!!

It is usual to put our things in the trolley after we pay our things on Cold Storage...Until we take back our money from the trolley bcoz we need to put $1 to pull out trolley so we can use it....
But today, Aerick did different thing...when he put items he purchased in the trolley n push it to where it belong to....then he take out his $1 n go out...is der any awkward here??

Its his items forgotten!!! phew...

Luckily i remembered it n ask him "why didnt u bring ur items?" He really forget it...can't think wat is he thinked tat time....

Am I look "OLD" ???

I often have been called "uncle" although im still 19....The most common one is while on d phone...it is unintentionally did by the others bcoz of my 'rough' voice...People may assume that im old bcoz my sound is no different wit other old ppl...So it can be tolerate...n dis is usual...

BUT!!! Today...when i was waitin the red light so tat i can accross...bcoz of d rainy day, i was standin under my umbrella...then suddenly a mother came n told his lil boy to stand beside me...My reaction was just usual, see at d boy n mom...She thanked me by sayin "Thx UNCLE"
damn....Is der any wrong wit dis situation???

Another story bout dis prob was when im waitin for lift...Later, the lift arrived n d door opened...Juz as i wan to enter d lift, i saw an old lady (i think d same age as my grandmom) was lookin in d mirror, its normal for women without any age range!! haha...seein tat, i assumed she din wan to get out, so i juz came in...but then she suddenly shocked tat she is being saw!! n say like dis "sorry UNCLE, lemme go out first b4 u come in" wtf *&^%$#@!

My 19th Bday Party!!

When I n my friends finished the lecture, i seem that Aerick n Ericson were a little bit awkward.
Aerick - he was a little energetic to go home faster while usually discuss about dinner with the others. Beside, there is a sentece make me feel so curious. He said "wlank pasti khi ciak e!!" (we sure will go to eat!!) instead of saying that later just go to somewhere to eat. Its different!!!
Ericson - while Aerick insist of going home, he was rather forcing me to go home faster. Its not his style!!

After going home from clementi to give Jasmine's lil sis her property, i dun see any sign of people going to surprise me. But im alert again bcoz Taruna had very fast reflex to door bell..hahahahaha..as he heard the door bell, he grabbed his cloth n put it on in a flash. Then i think its maybe the girls were comin, but guess who is it..its Zenzaw lend his last semester book..I also dun think tat the girls were so stupid to ring the door bell while im not the usual one to open the door...

Suddenly, Aerick come to my room to chit-chat n shut my door which we usually left it open when we just reach home. But im not aware of this, i just continue to learn guitar...

SURPRISE!!! the door open while my friends started singing "Happy Birthday". They brought 2 cakes that r so delicious..one for Taruna n one more is of course for me..

hehe ^.^ sorry d cake is already like this...

After the formality to make a wish, blew the candle and slice the cake, the WAR started!! First, the usual one, they put the cream into my face...ahh!!! almost forgot...when i have revenge wit Amel, just as soon as i put the cake in her face, her hands automatically slap me in the face so hard that i was unconscious for a while....phew....I thinks it stop there, so i n taruna washed our face at different bathroom..B4 we finish washing, i feel there is something on my head, it flour...phew...then another strike is coming, this time is egg...wtf!! fortunately all are amateurs in throwing egg, so it ended up in Herry bathroom...(sorry Herry n Guntur ^.^) But there is one i can't dodge. Its from our big boss, Anggi...haha..she simply knock it first then hatch it on my head...walao...Continue with Ericson splashing me wit root beer...(bday is soo hard, u must struggle so tat everyone got d same treatment -.-)

Later come the cleaning scene...Everybody start cleaning the mess...while i n taruna cleaning ourselves....haha....The party wasn't stop here...B4 we received our present, we got mini games that we must guess thing with our eyes closed...It start with dirty cloth basket continue Aerick's mini pillow....Taruna got green ipod shuffle while i got red nike jacket, grey zara sandal, n a deep blue clothes...

Loss in Time...

After school, I n my friends went to Suntec to see IT show...buyin electronics...

Then, when we're goin to go home, we can't find any bus stop...damn it...we rest for a while @starbucks, next find the bus stop again...After finding it, der is 2 bus suits our way home...First, we wait for 14 bcoz it's stop at place we know while d other one, we are a bit doubt of it, although it stop around clementi...d damn 14 neva show up...*&^%$!! so we risk to take d other bus hopin we may know d way home from der...nb : wait - 30mins, bus - 40mins

Then, in d bus, i dun dare to sleep bcoz i dun knw when d bus will arrive...so i wait...i wait....so long!!! Then after reach queenstown, we transit to change for d other bus tat will send us directly to our place...Dis transit sure takes a lot of time...d bus, 61, so long time juz come...Although it's arrivin, we can't board, bcoz it's too full...rememberin tat it's 6.15, everyone goin home time...we wait for d other, it's also d same...so we're pissed off then start to stop taxi...Although it's still peak-hour time...fuhhh...nb : wait - 60mins

Maybe it's really not our luck today...der is no single taxi availbale...walao!!! Finally, n Fortunately, der is less crowded 61 arrive...we then rush into d bus relievin tat we can go home finally...haha...nb : bus - 20mins

Do u realize tat we spend soooooo MUCH time juz for d transportation??? It's bout two n half hour...hopefully, i get things from der....my new hard disk...haha...if not, i will regret dis sooo much.....d tips from me...neva go home by bus anymore from SUNTEC....
